This post might be a little off key, but this tread is the most helpfull on. I am not getting much help in the second gen "non_engine" forum. This is the original post... ... . At 40MPH the truck has a bad bounce/vibration, if I keep going it goes away and then comes back as a shutter around 60mph and gets fasted with drive speeds. I had the drive line rebuilt and balanced at Blumenthal's and I still have the problem. I know for a fact that both front axle drive shafts are slightly bent, but I did not think that would cause this much bounce. If I pull my goose neck trailer the truck bounces badly around 35mph and keeps doing it to 45mph, the bounce is very bad at this speed and its hard to make it through. Once through it does ok... ... ... ... .

I drove the truck some this evening and found that I can see the rear of the truck bouncing at 40mph. I am not sure whats going on here. I am trying to get this sorted out. Anything would be helpful. Thanks

Have you looked at your tires?? Sounds crazy, but have you looked at your rear suspension, everything tight. I had a broken spring last year and it bounced like crazy unless the gooseneck was hooked up. I still don't know why that would cause the rear to bounce and shutter like it did. The truck didn't lean at all. Good luck, marc

It gets really bad when I pull a goosneck. It is very hard to make it past 45mph, it bounces very badly with a goosneck
