My truck has a noticable vibration around 70-75 mph. I've read some posts about others with this vibration but can't seem to find them now. does anyone know of a recall or fix for this problem? Any help would be great!
There are tons of threads on this one. But it depends on what you mean by "vibration". First of all, there is a known resonance in the Cummins between 2000-2200 RPM. Depending on your gear ratio, that might be 70-75 MPH. It is for me. That "drone" may be misconstrued by some as a "vibration". It is not a problem, but rather the nature of the beast.
If, on the other hand, it is a driveline vibration you've got, here are some threads to help you out:
I believe, as Vaughn Mackenzie pointed out on another thread, that there are more than 1 vibration people are hearing, so read carefully before coming to the conclusion "that's what I've got"!
If that's not enough information for you, try searching on "driveline vibration" in the 3rd gen forums. Enjoy!
