2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission vibrations???

ok guys, tried a search and couldnt come up with anything. for the last few weeks i have been trying to figure this out with no such luck. when the truck is in gear and the brake is on the truck has a vibration(somewhere near the shift linkage and steering shaft)the noise fades out as you take off. i can put it in park or nuetral and the noise goes away. anyone have this happen to them? thanks in advance. matt
