Yard being dug up...

I just recived 1 free acre in wyola montana

Trying to make some video's to burn to DVD's and also share with you all today, but I keep getting this same error when trying load video from the selected file into Windows Movie Maker.



... ... video could not be inported. An interface has too many methods to fire events from

Mark , what is the SOURCE file?? (I. e . mov , . peg , . ipx , . wmv or is it DvD2) When I made a couple I noticed that Windows Movie maker did not like the Mpeg2 (DvD format) as the source file.

Tim when transfering them from the camera to computer you have to change the file name from . MOD to . MPG to make it play.



Seems like I remember having to "codec" (right term?) some movies the last time I was playing around with this. I don't remember what program I used to do it, but it was already on my computer? An internet friend told me how to do it, I need to get a hold of him. :(
 
Ok I think I was on the right track with my last post. I'm getting this message.



cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.



Where do I get a get this "codec file"?
