anyone have any video of what a straight piped first gen sounds like, trying to get an idea of what it will sound like, thanks, Alex

video, w/sound ?

Sorry I don't have that, but will share my thoughts. I went straight 3 yrs ago and love the sound. If I park next to a building and start or run it there with my windows down then it sounds too loud. Actually I kinda like it, but my wife don't. After about a month she did stop mentioning it tho. R C Oo.

No audio for you, but I can tell you that I like the straight pipe sound so much, I have a hard time keeping the passenger window up even when it's freezing cold :D .

ditto

the heater stays on full blast a lot in the winter for the same reasons here 3" dp going to 4" all the way back with mbrp 5" stainless tip. there are some videos on dieselgarage.com with straight pipes

do a search and you'll find lotsa links on tdr too

Just say no to straight pipes... . put a restrictive muffler in there and meet me on the expressway..... :-laf :-laf

I'm mufflered (is that a real word?) because of the CT muffler nazi squad. (but I can hear my turbo..... )

Go for it.
