I'm guessing with an audience as large as TDR's at somebody here knows something about home refrigeration.
I have under the counter Viking refrigerator drawers that have been doing nothing but giving us problems as soon as the warranty expired. My latest problem with the refrigerator is out it's always on the cooling cycle.I know it has something to do with the timer or the sensor that the timer reads from. These parts are around $500 and $250 to replace and everything is built into a main Control circuit board. That I have already replaced once andI am not going to do it again.
What I would like to do is to convert this refrigerator over to mechanical control and take out all the electronics. So does anybody know what components and pieces I will need to do this project? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I can't help but I do hate to hear of your troubles. We have a Viking stove and it has been fine for the year or so we've had it. Love it and hope to upgrade to rest of the appliances later. They all have there problems but we do have a local dealer if we have troubles. I doubt you'll be able to go back to mechanical controls and keep the cost reasonable.
