Vin check for what axle

Hey Guy's anyone know of any place that I would be able to find out what axle is in a early crewcab 4x4 ? Helpppppppppppppppppp:{

If it's a Dodge with a Dana your going to be looking for a casting on the differential itself and/or the BOM #'s (Bill of Material). I'll link to a really detailed article on Dana 60's page down to see the BOM identifyer etc. You can also find Spicer/Dana website thru this article, there you can plug in the BOM and get any info you want on the axle.

If the BOM doesn't cross then Dana did something inside that you will not be able to find a part to replace it with. Most likely an outer bearing race.

Problem is all I have is the Vin number for the truck and the truck is 600 miles away from me that's why I was looking for a way to imput the vin and go from there its a crewcab 4x4 but from the pic I can't get a good view of frontend worst case I take a blind stab at it and go from there But I want to say Thank's for the reply's
