Is there a web site that can be used to search VIN numbers to find build sheet and warranty work on used vehicles?

The dealer has one. I've had them pull it up for me to check something before.

I have used Kelly Blue Book to search VIN.

According to today's newspaper, you can check for salvaged vehicles from hurricane Katrina, by using the vehicle VIN, on the National Insurance Crime Bureau website at www.nicb.org. You can also pay for reports on individual vehicles from www.carfax.com, www.autocheck.com and www.autoconsumerguide.com.
