I've been reading and seeing news about horrible weather across the south. I just saw now a violent radar for northeast Texas with colors I didn't think I'd ever seen. I hope any members living or traveling in these areas are protected and make it through.
I don't believe in the climate change sketch as the government is portraying it or that it's our fault or that we have control over it.

Weather is doing things that we, our parents and grandparents have not seen, but man has not effected it?

I'm not saying we haven't affected it but I'm only 39 and I can remember several Christmas where I could wear shorts and have also had tornados like this on Christmas before.

I live north of Bonham, Tx. We just got the tornado warning cancelled, Bonham is northeast of Dallas and we just had 2 rotations go by in the last 2 hours, Thank God they didn't drop down, Monte

Sno, the point was to call attention and well wishes to members in these areas. There is no ABSOLUTE PROOF weather or not things we've done beginning with the Industrial revolution has any effect. I've always been a good steward to my planet. I won't be shamed into it. I'm willing to wager that pre industrial rev, with everyone burning wood for heat and using up the forests, the pollution was worse in ways than now.

Right, I thought that also when we drove down I-5 today looking at the remains all covered in snow. Event was larger than all bombs combine throughout history or some such thing.

If one would say- the eruption of Mt. St. Helens contributed to global warming (our pollution levels) and was brought by natural causes- I would be more inclined to buy that. I was only 12 and on the other coast when it went off. I don't mean to make light of any bit of that event.

I was just getting the wiki on this. They put a megaton rating on her and IIRC 1600 times Hiroshima. What I couldn't grasp was the ash map And how far it covered!
Ok trat, sometimes hard to get a read lol. But in any case I firmly believe God is pi//ed.

Sorry it is only a natural cycle. Ask most on this forum.

The most destructive tornado on record did not appear in Tornado Alley. It happened in Worcester Ma.in the 1950s. It was unheard of at that time or sense. Does that make it global warming? Mark Twain said of New England, " if you don't like the weather, wait a minute." It's all a money scam, but because it's a liberal scam it's fine with some of us. Maybe the true believers in global warming should volunteer their time and money( actually go and work) to help those affected by natural disasters rather than bay at the moon.

Bravo! But this is a snag of the radar (awesome) app I use. That is some system!

I like hearing about this eviroment we have now. Global Warming because two skiers happen to notice they had to go up a mountain further because the snow level was higher. And the race was on. If Gore was right, we should expect the polar ice caps to be gone and the sea levels will wash away Los Angeles and Miami by the year 2003. I'm still waiting or the 2003 floods. The ice caps are growing per the satellite images. The world will come to an end where we burn up.

Now it's Climate change. As Biden said, If you don't believe in Climate change, your a fool. He was right. But right after he said that, a climate scientist said this was one of the things he was right in saying. But the contect was wrong. Since the earth was formed and finally cool down, with the movement of the oceans and winds, the climate changes everyday, eons before any form of animal stepped foot on the earth.

Man has been recording climate changes for only 100 to 150 years and with some findings of documents from our past has some slight knowledge of past weather conditions, but only if it was mentioned in those documents.

I know I have gotten flack for this, but I believe it just another way for some people to get rich quick off of this. Business start and fail and so on, but there are the few who make mega bucks from it all. Like Gore and his 2003 pridiction. And with all the methane gas screwing up the atmosphere, he said it is adding more because of the demands of beef the public wants. But when asked if he would stop eating beef to lessen the demand for cows and lessen the methane, he stammered and said he was not going to quite eating beef. While his huge body filled the entire chair he was sitting in.

Earthquakes, eruptions, the changing face of the earth and many more conditions will increase / decrease the atmospheres level of CO2 and such, and there's nothing we can do to stop it. History has proven it repeats itself. We can stop some portion our contributions of CO2 to the atmosphere, but we will have to go back to riding horses and walking from town to town to do it. Heck when we pass, our bodies emitts methane / CO2. And I have yet to hear any politician or tree hugger say their willing to do that much. Try living without oil or plastic.

All we need is to use is common sence and we'll be fine. If we let the earth do what it normally does, and let the trees grow and mother nature cycle as it has done, this to will pass. (Oh and get rid of all the politicians)
