It's been a couple of weeks but I saw 46mech going down Northhamtpon Blvd.

Can you tell I am bored at work?

Drew

I'm always quick to catch another Cummins, but I'll be darned if I can say that I remember faces from the pig pickin' event. Sorry :(

Where's all the NorVA guys?

Ain'tcha drivin'?

I see CTDs often but no TDR emblems:confused:

Don't let the "Left Coast" guys have all the posts. :D

Spotted a 12 Valve 2500 2WD Quad Cab long bed

Today 10-1 about 1:55 pm. It was heading north on route #28 towards Sterling in the center lane and me in the right lane heading to work in my little blue Furd Escort:{We were just approaching Dulles Airport exit. It was a QC and it was a two tone dark green over silver I think. Couldn't get close enough to tell, but it had a TDR bumper sticker "Got Diesel" on the left side of bumper.

It also had the full length body colored running boards and a color matched camper shell.

Are you out there?

Silver 3500 at Starr Motors

I parked beside a silver 3500 with a TDR sticker in the back window Monday about noon or so. I had stopped in at Starr Motors in Suffolk. The dually was a nice looking rig with A-pillar gauges and what looked like the MOPAR molded steps and flares.

Sorry I didn't get the chance to say howdy before ya'll left.

Hey Trey,

I'm about 30 miles or so south of you, exit 3 on I-295 to 460 east. Disputanta is about 10 minutes down 460.

A few of us diesel gearheads are trying to come up with a meeting place for next weekend (03-22-03). Maybe lunch and a BS session. Keith (Rammin On) is going to be leaving us to go out west soon, so I hope he can attend also. (Did ya hear that Keith?)

You can also find some more info by clicking HERE

Anyone in the area is welcome to attend. :D

Rattlinram, Sounds like my Silver '99 you seen at Starr, was just in for an inspection--most of the A@#$%^& inspectors in VB just want to find something wrong..... so off to Suffolk I go... . bought it at Greenbrier Dodge, but ALWAYS go to Starr for service--had bad experience at Greenbrier... ... ... . hope to see you around. . R, J. B. ;)

jbone,

I bought my truck at the Petersburg dealership and they gave me the run-around concerning my lift pump going bad. I tried for months to get them to find information on specs for replacement and they finally told me it wasn't covered under warranty. I drove down to Starr Motors and within five minutes, the service advisor ran the vin and told me it was covered. They ordered the pump and put it on when it came in. I know where I'll go to buy my next Ram! :D

A bunch of us Dieselheads are getting together on the 20th - 22nd of June for a couple days of wrenching and we'll also have a Dyno there too. Click Here for more info.

Hi y'all!

Just visitin' your area here. I don't think I've seen *any* Cummins-propelled trucks since I pulled into town (Hampton) last Friday... but I haven't been out much. I guess nobody has seen my truck either, since it has been "hiding" down at the Dodge dealer (Tysinger Dodge) since Monday morning, waiting for a new lift pump.

Anyhow, the new lift pump should be in today. I sure hope so, because I plan to pull out tomorrow heading towards Knoxville, TN.

At first my wife didn't believe me when I told her that "loaner" Dodge 1500 regular-cab V8 truck was a "full size" truck! LOL

Virginia TDR Members Spotted

I never see any TDR members on the road... perhaps my eyes are going?

I have a huge TDR sticker on the back of my bedcap and a grill badge so I am easy to spot... where are the rest of you??

Saw a black dually headed out of town on Northampton BLVD last week in Norfolk. He had a triple pillar gage setup... the first time I have ever seen gages in another Cummins besides my own (Again, are the eyes going?).

Who lives around VA Beach area and are there any coffee get-togethers/wrenching events going on??? I am always buying gadgets and looking for improvements on my ride so I have lots of note-comparing I would like to do.
