I'll be making the trek from NC to go pick-up my new truck from Tom. He's been great to deal with (for about the last 5 weeks - haha sorry Tom) and I'm looking forward to meeting him.

I tried and tried - but I could not find a local dealer to come even close to the deal Tom gave me. Even with an 800 mile trip it will still save me a big chunk of change.

If you see an '05 Graphite Sport 3500 cruising between MO and NC with a huge grin behind the wheel - that would be me. Oo.

Thanks again Tom - and I wasn't kidding about that bed full of free oil filters. ;)

Jim

Like the mother told the nun after she was molested, "go suck on a lemon... it will take the grin off your face. "

How about also a bed full of free fuel. :D The Dodge dealership where I bought my truck only allowed $15. 00 dollars worth of fuel added, said that's all Dodge would pay for,now if you would purchase a Ford, we will glady fill the tank. It was a Dodge/Ford dealership.

Tony

No full tank ????

OUCH! -- As much as the manager hates the bill, I always fill the trucks to the max (half-hour later :-laf )

And thanks Jim... I admit I like selling trucks... You should see when a caravan buyers walks in...

I am like "hmm,hmm, doody-doody-do, I'm on the phone, la-la"

Caravans - yuck, no fun, WHO wants to BOMB a mini-van ?!?!?!? :D

JIM - Cross your fingers that truck is there in the morning, It showed up on the locater, so it should be

PS - would be wrong to get a buddy to drive your G35 and see if my 7000LB sled can lay the smack down on it ??? (after we own it of course :D )

Just there.

Just got back from visiting St. Louis and Tomeygun. I got my friend to trade is 04 GMC 3500 8. 1 (9mpg) on a nice new 05 3500 SRW 4x4 Black Auto Cummins of course (17. 4mpg @ 70-75mph on the way home). Tom was great to deal with. I know that I will be back. Our trip was 766 miles. Definitely the easiest time I ever had in the purchase of a vehicle even though I was't the one buying it.

As long as YOU get to pick the spot to race you shouldn't have a problem whipping him... 800rwhp and all! You've got 4x4... think about it... pick a nice, nasty muddy 2-track and whup 'em! :-laf  :D

JS, what part of NC are you from? I'm down here in Tryon, NC and got my truck from Tommygun as well and have sent quite a few of my friends his way also. Sounds like your going to have a nice truck. Be sure to fill in your signature and post some pics when you get it. Oo.
