Just wondering if my 2002 HO has the warranty voiding sticker on the Lift pump. I was under there today and was not able to see one. Am I looking in the wrong spot? I was told they are on some and not on others. Thanks guys.

Russ, the void stickers are no big deal. most dealers could care less.

If you buy an edge box you can avoid the void stickers anyway.

Did you win the boox one ebay? ;)

YUP!

I got an Edge Comp so I wanted to know if I could run it as made or if I had to run it like the EZ. I really can't afford to intentionally void my warranty... ... but, I don't see that I will be able to avoid doing it one I start adding power. (twitch, twitch)

Well, a sticker isn't what will get you on the comp box. ;). It will be when you tap the pump wire. If you take it in for a failed injection pump and the do happen to warranty it, then there might be some issues down the road. Sometiimes the pumps are looked over for modifications and a tapped pump wire will be the first thing to throw a flag. Rest assured if the dealer replaces it under warranty then D/C later finds it was tapped, then they won't be paying the dealer for the repair. Then it is all down hill from there :--). This is all worst case senario of course. :D

My "void" sticker isn't on the lift pump - follow the wiring harness to the plug at the rear of the VP-44. That's where mine is.

If you're gonna bomb, repeat after me - "I am my own warranty station. "

It's the Comp

I figured if I was gonna do it then I would start here. This then the injectors. Gonna trade my straight 3" for a 4" as well. Probably a straight 4.

Russ, Look into the blue chip pump cover for the edge comp. you dont have to tapp the wire. You remove a cover on the injection pump that use 2 set screews to make contact as if you were to tapp the wire. No worry about warranty issues.
