2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Voltmeter gauge acting funny?

For the last few weeks the dash voltmeter has been going down to nothing for no reason. I get the check gauges light without the CEL. There was a code but I can't remember it



The charging voltage is 14. 5V.



Any ideas?

If you have determined that when the voltmeter goes to zero that your actual votage is 14. 5 I would check the voltmeter (guage)/wires/connectors out.
