I have done most or all to get rid of the skip or hesitation what ever you want to call it. I have not brought the truck to the dealer.

The truck's engine skips (4 times) at 1800-2200 RPM'S W. O. T. after 2300 the skip goes away and runs fine to 3200. But I have lost a lot of time.

When I slap the pedal to the floor this thing happens, if I do this slow I do not notice it hardly at all. I put on (3) new Lift Pumps. I change all the lines to 3/8, I went with aeroquip steel braded lines and fittings. It did not change a thing I still had the problem.

So I put on the two fuel pumps 1-15lb 100gph and 1-7lb 100gph pusher, no change the VP-44 will not handle W. O. T. Slap down.

The build date is 10-00 I think this is a KEY to what went on. I can also do this with the box off. I put it in drive and power break it will happen.

Does this Happen to YOU????????????????

Got to go work on the new Trans input shaft. Talk to you latter. Steven

With no change by the 2nd lift pump I would have stopped swapping pumps and started looking elsewhere.

Disconnect all of the Blue Chip wires so the truck is running 'stock' to see if it's a box wiring problem. Are there any trouble codes stored in the ecm?

Mine truck and a few other guys' will miss at WOT with the box on. But with the box off they're fine, no miss at all. Other than the box... I dunno, the VP44 could have a weak spot, but lets hope not. I replaced mine and it's not too cheap.
