Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP-44 help

Gonna replace my VP on monday. What's the easiest method to bleed air and restart engine after R&R of pump.

Bump the starter and cycle the lift pump 3 times.

then loosen three injector lines and crank it for 10 seconds.

Now go check for fuel at those lines.

If it has fuel, snug them and crank it with a little throttle it will start.

Leave 3 of the injection lines loose, at the cyl head. Prime the low side pressure system, then crank for 15 seconds... relax for at least 2 minutes, while the starter cools down, repeat 3-4 times, once you see fuel coming out of the three loose lines, tighten them up & she should fire up. May run rough for a bit, then should clear right up & run good.
