Today my Vp44 started leaking. It was leaking down on the drivers side where there is a little cover that is held on with two torx screws. The little cover looks like it might have a spring inside, the sides are flat but the middle round portion sticks out about a quarter inch. The truck still runs fine fuel pressure is still ok. Has anyone had this problem? If so what did it take to fix?

It is the cover for the timing piston assembly.

It should seal with an O/R, I would make sure the Torx screws are not loose.

My brother and i tried to tighten the screws, There a pain in the a** to get to. Do you need a special tool? There is not enough clearence. Is it possible that the o-ring blew out?
