Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP-44 or LP going south???

Yesterday I got the dreaded dead pedel only at take off. The weird thing is that it only happens on Comp Level 1,2,3 of low boost fueling. Anything higher than that and it runs strong. I don't currently have a fuel pressure gauge. And it runs good with the box off as well. What do you guys think???
