Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
Hello. 2001 ram 3500. Quad cab . Flat pedal issues.. decided to replace vp44 and install fass along with tps.
Ended up chasing wires and leaks and replacing power steering system and all new battery cables and cleaned up leaks.
So. Problems with the first vp leaked.. sent it back got another... then had trouble with fuel lines leaking at injectors. Replaced that...
Now truck starts fine as it should...but not all the time. Went to town 8 miles shut it down shopped. Wont start until about 12 secords or 15 seconds.. sometimes starts right up sometimes not.. i always wait for the-wait to start light to go out then hit it....
Fass puts out about 17/18. Psi. Installed a fuel pressure sensor at the fass. Fass relay is powered thru a relay connected to original leads to lift pump. Lift pump and filter cartridge gone...return line is original...
Truck had two pumps.removed both .tank pump is gone draw straw is in bucket with many holes in it...
What causes the vp to not start immediadely....losing prime ? Or what/? Driving me crazyy... been sick so i havent been here for a bit. Regards. And thanks for any info. Mike in florida...
