Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I have a Frieghtliner box truck with a 2000 24V Cummins that had lost all fuel pressure. We replaced the lift pump and the VP pump. I had the vehicle running for about 5 minutes, ran like *** then just shut off. Hasn't started since. I've pulled the front cover and verified engine timing. My question is. . one... any sugestions... . and 2, is it possible to be 360 degrees out on the keyway of the injection pump, meaning the pump looks like it is in time but is on the wrong stroke... . I'm reaching... . Thanks in advance.
OH! And I have a ton of white smoke now... . and have verified fuel at all 6 injectors...
Edit: I just pulled the VP pump back out and sure enough the keyway is destroyed... apparently I need to find better help... Glad I'm the only one that works on the Ram though
