Get rid of the truck

replaced the lift pump, but now if kept, will prob install a FASS when funds are available

any help greatly app.

Keep the truck... . replace pumps (yes, plural!)... . live happily ever after. Replacing the VP isn't bad, the instructions can be found in here, a haynes's manual or the service manual. I got mine from II, but just about any of them should be worthy. I replaced the LP with a HPFP from FASS. MOST IMPORTANT!!! Make sure you have gauges... . I found out the hard way. I had $1400-$1600 in both fuel pumps, worth it!! Everyone has their own favorites, find a deal if possible and get it finished so that you get back on the road.

latestupdate

so far, the concucious is a Blue Chip "updated" pump with timing piston sleeve,

& a FASS system on the frame rail. and GAUGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any cheap prices on fass out there?

I just replaced my 44 last night. It's not really that bad of a job. I had never done this before and it was about 2 hrs to pull everything and about 2 hrs back together. I got a standard rebuilt unit from Midwest Injection. Everyone seems to have the same warranty and i already run the Juice with Attitude , so i didn't want to go with a turned up pump. Randy
