Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 Electronics Question

Does anyone know if the electronics in a VP44 send any signal to the lift pump to start up? This is a followup to an earlier posting on a V44 rebuild that was installed and now the FASS OEM lift pump does not work. The lift pump was working before the V44 install. Strange that the lift pump would suddenly not work. The lift pump was installed approx 3 weeks ago.



Everything that we know what to check has been checked...

I believe that the signal to run the lift pump is generated in the ECM, which controls fueling.

TDR member JLandry is the one to ask, perhaps he will chime in.
