Are these part numbers correct for a Bosch VP44 out of a 99 manual trans truck?

Cummins: 394613503004

Bosch: 0470506011

I thought the bosch part number ended in 027 or 028 depending on ETC or ETH. I wonder if these are the numbers stamped somewhere on the pump body? Guy has a used one for sale and these are the numbers given. I need to make sure they are for Dodge ISB applications... such as my 99 5spd.

Thanks a million.

Despite the freezing cold temperatures, I managed to get under my truck and see the following numbers on my pump. It did however involve some Windsor Pilates to contort my neck in the wheel-well area.

Under the bar code: 394613502007... which must be my individual serial number... not a Cummins #. The other unit ends in 3004 so it must be a newer unit in sequence.

I believe my Bosch part # is 04705060_ _. I cant make out my last two numbers as the fuel line is directly over them. Not even a mirror helps. Thats my luck... the two most important and I cant see them.

As long as "011" is OK to have as the last three, I'll be fine I think.

But like I said, I've read where pumps end in 027 and 028. I just cant verify my last two digits without removing the line. Did the 027-028 numbering begin when the HO engine came out? Possibly 011 was used up until this point. I dont know.

By using some mirror trickery and a flashlight, I was able to see that the last three numbers of my pump shows 011. I was able to do this from the top of the truck. Cost me $10 to buy a Napa extendable "dentist like" mirror... but it was worth it... and I finally got me a mirror.

I also got my engine number and all that other good stuff off the engine plate while I was at it.

So if I'm thinking correctly, when the HO came out, maybe bosch started using 027 and 028 to distinguish the two pumps and retired 011.

My engine was manufactured 10/21/98 so this may have been before the ETH option. Just a guess.

PS: Now I am worried about the KDP again knowing my production date. Guess I better get to that when I do the VP job.
