Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 PUMP Warranty

I was talking to my nephew in northern Alberta yesterday who is a Mechanic at a Dodge Dealer and he warned me to keep my bills for my fuel filters. Apparently Chrysler is telling the dealers that if the owners don't have proof that they are changing their fuel filters every 20,000 klms(12,500 miles), then they will not Warranty the VP44. If you do your own filter changes, keep your bills.

Thanks for the heads-up dvaughan, good thing to keep in mind. I always document all filter changes although I'm not that good at keeping my receipts.
