Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 question

I know that there is a diffrents between a vp44 off an HO and a non Ho but what is it? Will it hurt anything if you install a vp44 off a non Ho auto truck on a 6 speed HO truck? Will I see a big diffrents in power?

I remember reading where someone put a HO VP on a non HO engine with poor results.

I believe there is a difference, I recall that the HRVP is combination of parts from both pumps.

The VP44 on the HO has plungers that are . 5mm smaller (7. 5 vs 7mm)

I thought I read the 2 VPs were not interchangeable.
