Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 rattle/vibration

just recently i have developed a rattle of some kind that sounds like its coming from the IP, but can't tell for sure. can only hear it at idle, and when i shut down, it rattles as the truck shutters. Still runs great, no codes, no irregular smoke. could it be Bad fuel or is my VP failing? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Carefully check all VP-44 securing hardware - mounting bolts and the bracket at the rear of the pump - LOTS of damage can occur if they loosen and allow the VP-44 to move around!
