Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) VP44 time

The truck threw an 0216 and went into limp mode about a month ago. Seeing as it's senior spring, I've been way to busy to drive anywhere, but now it's time to replace the pump. It's 100 miles from school to the shop at home, I've got a new pump on the seat, and my dad's waiting with a dually d-max and equipment trailer.

It's running fine again at the moment. Think I'll make it? Go time...

I ran with that code for a month but you are taking chances. If you are blowing white smoke, watch out!

Made it home without missing a beat. Kinda makes me wonder if it was worth replacing it. Anyway, the new pump is in and it's running fine. It's probably better to safe than sorry with a trip to Tennessee coming up in two weeks.
