Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) vp44

i just joined the vp44 troubles list my trk has 88k and just replaced the injection pump at my cost as i have a banks kit installed in at 3k i am wondering what might have caused it to go bad the lift pump is ok according to the dealer. now we are in the proccess of putting a fuel pressure gauge in

Contact Banks, they claim there stuff doesn't void your manufacture's warrenty.



What year is the truck? Some VP's fail with fuel pressure but with out fuel pressure they are much more prone to failing.



This is kind of a sucky way to start out posting with a bad news post.
