I dropped them off this afternoon at Diesel Components in Burnsville. Boyer was going to do it. They said the could pop test them but not adjust them if needed. That wouldn't help very much. They ref'd me to Diesel Components. They said no problem to swapping the nozzles and adjusting them if needed.

Kevin called this evening and he is having probs with his torque converter locking and unlocking constantly. We are going to try to fix that tomorrow night as well after the pump is back in mine.

I will see you around 5-5:30.

:D Oo. :D Oo.

Up and running again. Much thanks to Kevin for making the trek down here TWICE to help out. Thanks as well to Matt for lending (one) hand the other day taking it apart. Also, thanks Jim for the tool to pull the gear. Don't hesitate to give me a ring if anyone ever needs a hand with anything.

The DD3's make a big difference! Now I need to get that p-pump installed that I've had sitting on the shelf for a year now. Maiden voyage we pulled the fp down to 2. Need to leave the Comp turned down a bit I guess.

Other cool thing about this job is that I feel I've come away with some good new friends as well as a running truck. Thanks guys!

Your welcome deon, Just pass the favor on if someone else needs help. That thing is running great, and i think your right my VP44 is heading south. Talk to you later and get that p-pump in before you hammer down.

Alpha, I lived right off Pilot Knob in St Charlewood on Exceptional Trail... new housing straight west of the water tower and 1 mile north of Hiway 50. My 1st cousin ,who I visit often, lives in Lakeville about 1 mile south of Kwik Trip/McDonalds in a new housing development... they just started building new houses on the west side of the road from him. Trent Thompson is his name if you live near him... he is a security cop at a hospital.

no problem Deon! Glad I could lend the one good hand I got right now... . maybe next time I can lend two! :-laf

Bob, thanks for helping Deon out, and dont worry, I told him he should take it easy for a few miles before "flogging" it :-laf

Let me know how that pusher pump setup goes and if you need a hand.

You good with wiring? I just picked up dual power and heated leather seats for the Ram this last week, and need to figure out a way to wire them up since my truck did not come with powered seats :(

I'd be glad to help out with the wiring. I would think that your truck has the wiring harness there somewhere under the seat. Maybe hidden under the carpet? When you gonna work on it? Give me a shout.

get all the air out of the lines before you flog it with the comp box. run for a few miles with the box OFF

Thanks Bob for getting the VP to me and at a very good price. I'll be shipping the core back tomorrow.

How long does it take to get the air out of the lines? It is running really smooth. I've probably got a hundred miles on it now.
