I think I would rather have pump that comes with a warranty. I got mine from Midwest Fuel Injection. Or you can call RIP. SNOKING

i dont think a warranty would be honored anyway, assuming your comp is tapped. 500 bucks for a vp44 is hard to pass up.

A pump reman's two years ago did not get the same goodies that they use today. SNOKING

javascript:eek:l('http://www.bluechipdiesel.com/injectionpumpfailures.html'); i would look at these guys and yes 500 bucks for a new vp is good deal but its on escrew so just be carefull!! i bought one from diesel care and they stole my core and never credited my card for the 400 bucks . the guys at blue chip also have a cover that you can get that will make it so taping the wire wont be such a problem they claim bosch hasnt turned em down on warranty with taped wire but you can read for yourself on there website

Besides the 0216, have you noticed any problems. I had the 0216 over 10000miles back, it disappeared shortly after it appeared, and truck runs fine. Sometimes the electronics hiccup, and codes are set. Unless your getting symptoms, don't jump the gun.

Big A
