I have a couple sitting in my shop and I wouldn't recommend doing anything with it other than a boat anchor. I take them off of the old cummins motors b/c they are so laggy and unreliable. The center section is very expensive to rebuild and most parts aren't made anymore. The compressor wheel is very small (2. 5-2. 7) inches and the cold side housing is massive. They are very slow spooling and not very efficient. Just my . 02

I've got two crappy Cummins turbos (one's a ST-60!!!) that I bought with my last $120 at TiM '02 (I was drunk... leave me alone!) - I'm going to bead blast them, cover 'em with Krylon and put 'em on eBay!



Red isn't a good compressor side color, though... I may go with black... it's suggestive, sinister...
