Hi guys,

I'm considering this relocation kit; seems that everyone is having really good luck. My question is this... what options do we have to connect a fuel pressure gauge with the big line Vulcan kit? Also, why does the schrader valve in the kit not come with a core. Right now, as I see it, there are 2 options for the gauge: seems Vulcan is now including a banjo bolt and schrader valve at the injection pump and also, another fitting with 1/8" NPT.

Can anyone offer insight?

Thanks...

I just used one of the 1/8" ports on the top of the fuel filter. Just pull the plug off and install your sender.

I don't have a schrader valve on my truck other than in my tire valves and the A/C, so not sure what your talking about there.

I should've included the year of my truck, 2001. I don't believe my truck has a port on the fuel filter housing. . couldn't see one on the truck or in the service manual.

Some trucks (like mine) have a schrader valve port where the inlet line from the fuel filter connects to the VP44.

Ah. Get some fittings and tie it in before the injection pump would be the best way to do it then.

I made my own relocation kit, was roughly $55 in supplies.

My Vulcan big line kit came with a "T" in the 1/2" hose going from the fuel fliter to VP44. I thought all the kits came with that option included.
