Howdy,

I am looking at a set of gauges (pyro/boost/fuel) for my '01 and am probably going to get Dipricol gauges as that is what I have had in my 91 for about 5 years and like them alot.

Searching the forums I ran across this great deal on the Optix series package from Vulcan Performance. http://http://www.vulcanperformance.com/servlet/StoreFront

I was just looking from some feedback from some of those who have bought this package (heck of a deal). I searched the forums and did not find out alot, only it seems the A-pillar pd does not fit so well. But even if I bought the pillar pod seperate, that would still be about 75$ cheaper than I could buy just the gauges for elsewhere:--)

Thanks, Steven

I have heard nothing but good things about Eric at Vulcan Performance.

Rip at Source is also another good vendor.

Just from looking at Genos and their prices for just the gauges alone this is a great deal. The pyro and mechanical fuel pressure gauge alone are worth at least $300. For another $7 dollars you can get the drill and tap for the egt probe as well. As stated above Eric at Vulcan is great to deal with. Not sure if you have it or not but Vulcans L. P relocation kit is another good addition to have. Eric has alot fittings and fuel lines if you need them also.

Hey guys, thanks

I do have the LP Big Line relo kit on my '01, very easy install to boot. All the trucks in my sig wear exhaust from Rip:cool:

I was just curious about this gauge package, hadn't seen alot about it on the forums. I think I'm going to try it, even if I do have to buy another A-pillar pod.

Eric/Vulcan is one of the best vendors around! He has always gone over and beyond what others do. Never an issue.

Well, I ordered them last night, so I'll get to try them out in a few days. Then I can put in some RV275's I've got sitting thereOo.

Thanks guys.

Well,

I got my gauges installed yesterday, and I have to say that this is a very nice package; especially for the price. Only one thing really bugged me, and that was the tubing for the Boost and Fuel press. I thought it was incredibly thin, might have just been me. It will be upgraded soon enough:-laf

The A-pillar pod was not too bad, I epoxied mine:D so it fit great:-laf. I would definitely buy this package deal againOo.
