W2W running boards or step bars for a '10 Megacab Dually

I posted this question the other day in the 4th gen. section, thought this section might be more informative.



Has anyone, or does anyone know where to get a set of wheel to wheel boards or step bars that fit a 20010 megacab dually? Reason being that I'm looking for paint protection from the winter elements and summer road rash, also it helps to have the kickout for the dually flares so i can step up and lean into the box, considering i tow quite often. This is very frustrating, since i have owned this truck since April, and still have only found one mfg. to offer what i'm looking for, but, I'm not too sure about dropping the hammer and ordering from them.

I have Willmore Nerf Boards on my 2003. While mine are just cab length they were available W2W. They mount using existing holes in the rockers and therefore you don't have to drill holes in the wheel wells or rocker panels. I prefer full running boards to keep everything off the rockers and the front of the rear fenders. It's amazing what those wide fenders catch without them, the front tires throw alot of junk their way. Mine are the aluminum ones from DeeZee that have been sprayed with LineX-Xtra being the aluminum is a pain to keep shiney. Course I also have mudflaps front and rear too, call me paranoid, lol.

Try running board world on the net. I bought w2w boards for my 2010 crew with 8' box drw. Ibhave the owen's tread bright boards.

I agree with the running boards being a better accessory over bars, much more protection. Having said that, I do have 4" SS WW Boss Bars, got them from RealTruck.com, they did have them for quad cab dually's, not sure about mega's.

Thanks for all the info. I like the Wilmore stainless nerf boards. I'll see if i can get a set of those. I do agree that boards give the most protection, and up here with all of the winter weather, it definitely is needed.
