Apparently the crankshaft tone wheel can delaminate.

What they are doing is changing the software so in the event the tone wheel fails the vehicle will not stall. My guess would be once shut off it will not start again, similar to DEF systems with serious faults.

I have 147.000 miles on my 2015 Eco and looking for 200.000 I have NO trouble at all I do all recalls and change oil and filter every 6000 Miles fuel every 12000 use good fuel 40+50 ct do not fuel in IL they no set ct you can find good from 40 to 80 ct is the best but very hard to find there is some good actives HOT shot every day is good need to take a long run every now and then so it clears it self out good
