Started making a prounounced wa wa wa sound when taking off with a load in 1st & 2nd gears. Seems to dissapear in 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th. I can also detect a light whirring sound with the clutch out standing at idle.

Any ideas? Don't like the wa wa wa.

The sound you're hearing with the clutch out in neutral is the gears in the trans. In this situation, the input shaft, countershaft, and the output gears are all turning, only the output shaft is sitting still. I think the clutch disc makes some rattling when near idle speed as well. These sounds are all normal. I've noticed on mine that I can hear it more when the trans is warmed up.

I'm not sure about the 1st / 2nd sound at takeoff.
