Well, it took 7 weeks to get these (they weren't in stock and Waag had to make them) :{ and they set in the barn for almost a month. #@$%! Told my wife I was mounting them this weekend!!!! :)

I changed tool boxes and got a tool box/fuel tank combo so I needed the step to get to my tools.

Installation was fairly easy (especially if you are as anal as I am). No drilling frame mount. The only thing that took another set of hands was the spring bumper is used for the rear mount and you can not hold hold the spring bumper mount, step bar mount and start the bolts.

Tubes are light weight but well supported. Had to take a grinder to two of the t bolts to get them to fit through the frame holes on the front bracket. The hook bolt was a little challenging on the fuel tank side on the middle support.

I'm very pleased with them, they are exactly what I wanted. Oo.

New tires are 235/85R/16 Toyo HT's E rated with 5K miles on them. Very pleased with them also. I have a harder time deciding on tires than about anything!!! I flet for what I do this was next best to Michelins which I didn't want to pay the extra $$'s for.

Now I just need to change my sig!!! :)

I've had 2 sets of these now and think they are great. I also put them on myself, I ended up getting a longer bolt to put thru one of the holes in the rear so that I could hold stuff in place and then put the regular bolt thru the other hole and started the nut on it to hold everything in place. Then took the long bolt out and replaced with the original. You need a third hand to hold everything in place otherwise, but my longer bolt did the trick!

I notice a rubber cover for the overload spring stop point, mine don't have rubbers there, is that something I am missing or aftermarket?

Don, they aren't aftermarket, they came that way from the factory, do you have the 3 bolt holes in a triangle in your frame? I really like your sig. in the color of your truck! Still happy with the paint?

Well crap, I went out to photograph mine, and I DO have the rubbers, I guess my memory is going fast (er).

We love the new paint, it seems to grow on you, and the compliments are still coming in. In a week or so we are having the Host Yellowstone pickup camper painted to match! Even submitted a photo of her for the calendar contest, wish me luck.

I have the same stops on my 97. But what I would like to know is how Mr. Bartlett got so much room between the stop and the overload helper spring. I have about 1. 5 to 2 inches and on just about any bump the front of the springs hit the stops making noise and driving me crazy.

We have a local guy who has had a set of those on a single wheel Ram 2500 for a few years already. Looks goofy as hell.

WDaniels my springs are stock, did you buy your truck new or has someone maybe removed a leaf? do you have the same number of leafs I have? if not I'd say your rear springs might be getting weak! DonTx, no airbags but I have Timbrens,:) BillVO, they would look goofy as hell on a single wheel (must be a misplaced redneck!):-laf

Where can I get a set

I've been thinking about getting the Kickouts for some time now... ... . after seeing yours I'm convinced that a set of black powder coated bars would look great on my truck... ... . ????..... where did you purchase yours ?

Thanks for posting the pics!

I have that clearence w/o any bags... they just touched w/2500# in the bed and I only have a 2500. Then I added spacers from tork-lift(?) now I have 1" clearence and the springs touch the spacers with 750# trailer tounge and with the 2500# in the bed but the truck looks empty, but I do feel the bumps more when they hit, even empty.
