Ok,,Who can offer me some insight here,,I am looking at WAAG's full length sidetubes for my Ram(wheel to wheel),,What I'd like to know is who has them and their likes and dislikes,,Do they mount to the cab mounts or are they body mounted??,,How is the finish holding up as far as rust and chipping goes??,,I've been looking for something and after seeing various trucks with different makes and the poorly done finishes I'd like to get a set of something that will show some kind of toughness and last more than a year,,Any insights or help is appreciated... ... WAAG kickouts

I have had my set for six months and 13,500 miles they are in Black. I didn't mount them but it looks to me like they are in the frame with brackets that drop down- pretty strong but there is some give- I like the ability to use them to climb into the bed from the side and they look great. Wear is good and they clean up well. I would recommend them.

I'm getting a "round to-it....."

One thing to be aware of - these sidebars are incompatible with the Torqlift camper tiedown system, so you'll be using Happijacs with them if you have or are thinking of having a slide-in, which is not a big deal, but there are those amongst us..... and you know who you are... ;) :D, who consider this to be a deficiency... makes you wonder why either manufacturer cannot come up with a mutually compatible install, eh?

They've been on for just over two years now and seen some radical weather, crossed the USA once and then the big pond and back and forth across mainland Europe to/from the UK several times - looking a little scuffed around the step plates, clean up pretty well, but other than that, yeah, I'd go for them again without batting an eyelid- they've met all and exceeded a couple of my expectations.

The only thing I would have done (in hindsight) is to get them powdercoated before I installed them, as this is a more durable finish - but I'll get "a round to-it" next year.

regardless, your choice of tubes is Exemplary !! :p

... . and this is my good friend David from Commiefornia who worships at the Torqlift Alter, but who, it would seem, is uncharacteristically, just a little tongue-tied :D:D - sorry David, I couldn't resist it... :D:D
