After about 2 practice runs, it seemed like my synchros were going out but it was the clutch not disengaging completely. After about 7 practice runs, i could hardly shift it into gear. I went ahead and raced and won the manual class. I had to hold my heel down on the brake to keep it from pulling me foreword and red lighting. I do not know what I did to break it, but it ended up pretty hot from finishing the mourning racing on it with it dragging on the flywheel. My launch should't have hurt it too bad because it is reving it up to almost 3000 and dropping the clutch. It has about 50 passes on it.

It has no vibrations, and the breakover point in the pedal is still in the same place, and there is no apparent leaks in the fluid system, and it does not get worse when the pedal is held down for a while, like it would if it was leaking. I will be pulling it out this weekend and throwing the stock clutch back in till I figure something out.

This has not been the most fun clutch to drive, but I got it because it would take a beating anywhere except the pulling track and come back for more. For the record, i have not pulled a sled with it, or ever will. It was stout enough that it would not break in till i ran it at the drag strip.

This is not meant as a flame to Joe or his clutch, just my experience.

Its got a brass bushing, and the brass is soft enough that it will wear any high spots off easily and stop draging. Good guess.

Its slowly getting worse. Its picking up a little shutter. Like the clutch is trying to engage. Still no vibration. Its feeling more lke a pad dragging than before.
