Well Boy's I don't know for sure wether or not I'll Be there or not ... .

My !3" Southbend FE came apart on me today, Left me stranded, Going across a little bridge about 10 mph went to accelerate and Pop thought my imput shaft broke , waited on James to come pick me and the truck up . Got over to his house , we pulled the transmission and found the center broke out of my Clutch. checked out everything no twisting of the imput shaft , every thing tight, the only thing other than the clutch that was screwed was the brass pilot bushing , but it wasn't that bad. Oh well , if I got to spend the price of a new clutch to get this truck back on the road then I'm going to try a rattle clutch that will hold up more than 35-45kmiles.

About the only new toy I got are some DV's. They're awesome! See yall sunday. I got my brother to come too and he's bringing his truck. He wanted to see all the bad ass trucks!

I don't remember how your Comp box is mounted... but if its easy to remove... if you get a chance. . maybe you could bring it. . I need to try a different box. . I think mines giving fits again... . All levels and sublevels feel the same...

I think JB is ready to try a different place to eat... . Something about Rita's... .

The one time we meet and no one has anything to work on... JB. . (with no truck) still has to work on someones truck... Nothing difficult... it took them longer to find a can to get diesel, than anything else. . (nothing like sitting on the I35 waiting... ) Well. . it looks like someone is going to get a new sending unit soon... .



Someone post the next date so I can check my schedule. . and warn the wife. . hahaa. .

(Looks like my box is OK... clutch slipping was back to normal when I left. . but look like the wire came lose again. . but I got a solding iron for that. . (I've only been saying that for a yr and 1/2... )

I think the date for the next meet is October 23rd two weeks after Kerville. There's already one truck in Line for timing set, and I'm bringing Gauges for fuel Press checks,and the soldering iron. Oh yeah , the vette 's fast 120 in 4thgear with two gears left to go
