Mine did this when I got water in the connectors between the engine and the computer. There are two connectors to clean and make sure they are dry. The first one is behind the engine near the firewall, and one on the fender near the relays for the heaters.
Mine flashed after I tried to wash the engine and never got them dry. After all these are cleaned and dry, disconnect the battery for about 5 min to reset the computer.
If this doesn't work, there is a short in the system going to the air manifold temp sensor, water in fuel sensor or the relay system. Look for a rubbed wire on the engine or on the fender. The other option is that the manifold temperature sendor is AFU.
