Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) wait to start light

my wait to start light comes on like it should when it goes out after 30 sec. i start it then the wait light statrs flashing even if i shut off engine and restart just keeps on flashing any ideas? rod

I think I would monitor the voltage at the grids and make sure it is dropping out like it should. You may be having a problem with the relays sticking. Disconnect them when the light is flashing and see if it changes anything.
