2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission wait to start wire color/location

I am trying to hook up the wait to start light to my auto starter, but I can't seem to get to the wiring behind the dash without taking the thing out. Does anybody know the wire color and an easy way to connnect it?

I used Orange/Black wire behind insrument cluster. It is in the right connector. Be carefull removeing the connector.



This wire can also be found under the hood.



The instructions for my alarm said to use a diode, I used a relay instead.

FWIW - A relay will not completely block the signal like a diode will.
