Just another abduction on the news, until it ended up at Willcox, AZ Hospital. 2 miles from my Dads place.

The guy was shot at Bowie, and went to the hospital for treatment. How he was shot:

Authorities said Williams kept heading west as he continued his crime spree, attempting a robbery at an Arizona RV park, but was foiled by a store worker who fired the shot that landed Williams in the Arizona hospital where he was treated and then taken into custody.

"He said, 'This is robbery, I want all the money in the cash register,'" retired New York City firefighter Richie Chapman said. "And as he said that, he drew a weapon from underneath his shirt, and I drew and fired. "

In addition to aggravated kidnapping charges, Williams also could face federal charges of interstate transport of stolen goods, kidnapping or carjacking, according to Jeffrey Millslagle with the FBI in Tyler.

Wonder how long he'll last in the Tyler jail - if he ever gets there. There must be at least one decent sized tree right there in Wilcox, eh Sledpuller? Hope the Texas Rangers get to him before the ACLU does.

He's also looking at a state capital murder charge in Texas as the woman's body was found on the side of the road near Stanton. Big mistake on his part - when a Texas jury gets through with him, he'll be taking the drug-induced dirt nap.

What a shame that animals like this prey on innocent young women. This guy was booted out of the Marine Corps on a Dishonorable for smoking dope, and the media is making him sound like the victim now because he was in "Iraq" and was "traumatized". I can understand these young soldiers coming home and having problems. I don't dispute that some of them do and they should be taken care of when they go to war for us. But I'll be damned if I'll ever understand killing some innocent young girl (she was no doubt raped before the animal killed her).

The retired fireman will be fine. Arizona still has some sanity when it comes to gun laws and alot of people here carry guns. You can openly carry a gun almost anywhere as long as it's not concealed. If it's concealed you need a permit. Not hard to get though. When crimes like this take place I sometimes wish all law-abiding citizens carried guns. If this guy had been a retired NYC cop instead of a fireman this "victim" probably wouldn't have made it out of that RV park alive.

Prayers to the young lady's family. Prayers to the animal's family as well. They're probably fine people who had a son go bad on them. Now he's wrecked a lot more lives..... and for what??? I can't even imagine losing a daughter to something like this.

Thank God Texas still knows how to deal with real scumbags. If that happened here in the land of fruits & nuts he would be given a nice warm cell and fed 3 squares a day for about 20 years before he got the needle

With proper training, the fellow at the RV park would have known how to execute a double tap. Two to the chest and one between the eyes.

I wonder how much liabilty Wal-Mart is in for since the Security Guard approached the fellow and had been watching him on surveillance video.
