Has anybody had any issues with a Walbro fuel pump,I have had mine now for about 4 years with no problems, except this week, the pressure is going from 10psi to about 24 psi, the fuel filter is clean, it was fine just this week it has been doing this. I wonder if it is the regulator or is the thing is just shot and I need to buy a Fass.

Have you verified the fuel pressure with a second mechanical test gauge connected directly to VP44 fuel inlet?

More often than not fluctuating fuel pressure is not the fuel pump but the pressure sender or gauge.

That was the first sign of mine failing. Have you noticed an increase in pump noise? My replacement has just started with a smaller pressure swing and increased noise too. Glad I have a spare under the seat.
