My 95 CC 4x4 5. 9 L, I had new after market balljoints installed after I took the truck in for a wheel alignment(Firestone). The upper rt. side bj was out. Now, for the first time over 240,000 miles the truck wanders constantly, at 70 mph it gets hairy.
After, I took it back to Firestone for re-Alignment , and having the mgn. tell me that the bj's were installed wrong before driving or inspecting the truck, so to speak turn me off. Fire stone had wanted to charge $415 a side to change the bj's.
I had it done for 1/2 the price.
I then took the truck back to the installer, for recheck. He checked, had a portable Alignment co. check the Alignment, it was way off.
I then had Schwab Tire check Alignment, they told me that the truck had not been Alignment recently. It is still wandering. I have attached Schwab Alignment readout. Schwab's mechanic said the tracking bar was in specs with some allowable play, steering box seemed OK.
Where do I go from here, new tracking bar? or other?
Help!
