wanna pull the new 6. 7 but, not sure about that new turbo they stuck on it. . What about trying to bolt the II Silver Bullet off my 04 on to it?

Am i crazy or could it work? i have some parts left over from my 04 truck, one just happens to be an II silver bullet 66, has anyone else looked into how we could possibly run one of these on this motor?

it looks like you could just put a pipe plug in the coolant line to the charger, the only thin that worries me is if the engine would go into retard mode if i unplugged the engine brake stuff:-{}

anybody that can shed some light on this please do!!!! i bet it would run like a raped date! Ill do it but i need someone to tell me if im going to waste a day doing so:confused:

what electronics are hooked up to the turbo? On the Common Rail trucks, it is just the boost fooler.

the 6. 7s have coolant AND oil flowing in the charger. correct?

i think just the exhaust brake harness, yes there is coolant line also, it appears as you could just put a plug in the T that comes out of the heater hose line?

My guess is your gonna get a limp mode. The stocker is a variable vane and it is computer controled with vane placement etc. Somebody is gonna have to come up with programming to get around that one I am afraid.

:D its going to cost a bunch, but I am still waiting for someone to yank the wireharness out, replace it with a 5. 9 CRD harness and ECM/PCM. I still think it can be done!
