As the title says. I have the instrument cluster out to repaint the needles. Does anyone here know the correct color or something very close?

Can I buy this color in a toy section at Walmart maybe?

Thanks

Kurt

I'm looking at doing the same thing once it warms up. It looks like the needles were originally a international orange, should be able to get that from anywhere that sells the plastic models and Testers paints. The small bottle and a brush shouldn't be more then a couple of bucks.

I can't help myself, I think you should paint them all different colors to really throw people off. Can you picture it? Could you see someone else trying to figure it out??? :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf

I think Testers florescent orange would be good.

Answered my own question.

Went to Walmart in the toy section and found Kustom Kolor by Valspar "neon orange". Looks identical. Only took about 5 minutes to repaint. I removed the clear plastic cover and with gauges still in in the panel I held a paper towel behind the needle and used the Testors brushes to apply. The area of the needles that is always covered, did not need any.
