I am looking at shipping my 2002 Dodge CTD with Camper to Europe for about a year and a half to two and a half years. Have heard of CTDs in Europe and wondered if there were any parts avaliability issues. I know diesel availability is excellent. Thanks for any help...

If you can get onto the US military installations, they have auto parts stores and self help repair shops that you can order parts through. You should be able to get on post by signing in and getting a visitors pass or if you are retired military should be no problem.

The spare parts are a problem. These trucks were never imported there, therefore, no spare parts. A friend in the U. S. though, can ship to you whatever you may need.

Northern Europe is not a problem, there are dodge dealers at least in nordic contries and germany. Aftermarket companies as well, with significantly lower prices than the dealers. (And if you think dealers are expensive in the US, just wait till you get here! )
