Found a used Dana 70 with drum brakes 750. 00 with posi.



it's 2000 according to the tag on the cover.

Dana 80's are tough to come by. I know someone who paid premium cash on Ebay for one and it was the only one he found for months.



I am not sure how bad your is bent,but,with the number of good race chassis shops in Ca have you ever thought of pulling yours and having one of them re-tube it and brace the back. You would think better tubing and braced would be easier than finding a needle in a haystack... ... ... ... . Andy

Ask for Steve Marrone. They aren't the bargain shop, but do excellent work and stock Dana parts. Mucho cheaper than Dodge and others I've seen. I bet they might even re-tube the bend side of your oe axle.



I would also talk to some wreckers that you might find on the web. I could have purchased a Dana 80 w/rear disks for $850, it came out of a front wrecked 2001 4x4 w/15K. It was in Ark. I can't find the # unfortunately. Guess I shoulda snatched it up.

Found a Dana 70 with posi for 750.00

I ended up with a dana 70 with drum brakes out of a 2000 4x4 with posi.

I was told the posi unit alone is worth 600 bucks. Plus a good housing alone is a few hunred bucks just by itself.

The best part is now I have a complete rear end and will not need to be without the truck during the week,and it's a posi!
