Cummins V 8 bites the dust.....

so i have been dealing with some issues on one of our trucks, i installed an s300 turbo and it did not go smoothly, and actually i cant fully fix the problems till the truck comes back to the yard.



in all of this though i have been on the phone a number of times with Bean's Diesel where i purchased the turbo from. i have to say they have been extremly helpful. the first problem i encountered was mounting hardware. it was supposed to come with the turbo, however as can happen things got overlooked and the hardware didnt make it in the box. called Bean's and they overnighted new hardware, i still had to source my own cause the truck was leaving early morning the next day, but it is the fact that without hesitation or reservation they sent me the new parts. another problem is the exhaust brake, its not wanting to seal on the new turbo, another call to Bean's and they worked with me on possible reasons, again wont know if they work or not till the truck gets back, but they have promised me that when it does get back and if i still cant find the problem they will help to make sure that it works perfectly. the last problem i had was the boost fooler, yet again another phone call, this was while the truck is already on the road, explained my problem and that i suspect its the fooler, i said i would ship mine to them when the truck got back, but asked if they could send one to me in the mean time. i did not ask for any expedience, however the new fooler arrived today, which means it was overnighted. i cant put it in till the truck gets back and reagular freight would have been fine, but no they sent it out right away and made sure i got it asap, again no hesitation or reservations or questions. so as a bit of gratitude for their supreme customer service i thought i would make it publicly known here. its not neccessarily above and beyond the call, but so many companies now a days do just the bare minimum to get you off the phone that i think Bean's deserves some recognition for their service. all my dealings with them even that of buying the turbo originaly, have been very good, they are nice, sincere, and friendly.
